Hi, there. I’m Sandra and this is my story.

A smiling woman with long dark hair taking a selfie in front of a historic church with tall spires and a clear blue sky.

I was a scattered soul who couldn't find grounding.

I had spent a decade working on cruise ships; ten years of sailing, traveling, rushing, and connecting across the world. I knew instability. I knew adventure. I knew the particular aliveness of constant motion. But I didn't know Home.

When I transitioned out of that life into a new country, a marriage, a completely new routine — everything stopped.

My world went from the open ocean to complete stillness. And in that stillness, my mind became really loud.

Then I found yoga. One block from my new home … and something shifted. The chatter got quiet. My breath deepened. My heartbeat softened.

I had dropped into something I had never felt before.

Four weeks later I was volunteering at the front desk. A few weeks after that, I was signed up for my 200-hour teacher training.

Life kept moving. A corporate chapter came and went — it funded hard seasons and taught me about perseverance.

But the calling got loud.

So loud I couldn't ignore it. I quit my job and went full-time into this work.

I've been teaching and holding space full-time for over a year now, and it is one of the most meaningful things I have ever done with my life.

I believe Jesus guides everything I do — including yoga and energy work. That might surprise you. It used to be complicated for me too.

But here's what I've come to know: healing does not replace faith. The body does not compete with God. Energy does not bypass Christ. God heals through many doors — breath, touch, movement, presence, prayer — and SOMA is one of those doors.

I hold this space for everyone. The deeply faithful and the quietly seeking. The spiritually certain and the beautifully in-between. Wherever you are with God, you are safe here. You will not be preached at. You will simply be held with intention, love, and the quiet conviction that you were made whole.
